Is the blog dead?

No. "B-but Pas, you haven't updated in almost 4 days!" WORRY NOT, SWEET CHILD.

In all seriousness, though, having a twitter and blog feels a bit strange. Normally, you could run both, and have all the serious stuff for your blog, and random musing for twitter. It's almost the opposite for me, though. The fact that people can follow you on twitter has me more self-concious about what I post on it, whereas since only like, 2 people actually check this blog I just throw whatever on it.

The only reason I haven't posted anything is because there hasn't been much to post about. I'm keeping up with a few shows this season, and planned on writing about the ones I'm enjoying but never got around to it, so I'll just list them here.

  • Hanayamata (probably my favorite, I know it's not the best show but it makes me happy watching it)
  • Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki0kun (funniest show this season, I really love Chiyo)
  • Zankyou no Terror (personal preferences aside, I honestly think it is the best show from this season. Really enjoying it)
  • Barakamon (still really good, but kinda slipped off my top 3, I'll probably explain why in a later post)
  • Akame ga Kill (I'm really close to dropping this, not because it's bad but I guess I'm just not in the mood)
  • Sword Art Online II (Dear god why am I watching this shit)

I also finally got around to watching Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children), and quite enjoyed it. Funnily enough, I wish the movie had focused more on the mother than the children, as I found her story was more interesting and her character was a lot more easy to empathise with.

In other news, I finished Eli's character reference sheet today, so I'll probably start trying to put her together tomorrow. Clip's Symmetrical ruler is insanely helpful for setting up reference sheets. Saved me so much time.

My main goal with this model (aside from making it) is to pick up some new skills and techniques, so I can learn some tricks or better techniques that can help me in future. Chances are it's going to be a long, slow and painful process, but I hope I get something useful out of it.

There, enough text for ya? Twitter ain't taking that shit, haha.
