Up and running

While it took me far longer than anticipated, I've finally managed to get my set up working again!

Now that everything's sorted, I can finally get back to drawing normally. I've added some new brushes and removed others, it still needs some work before I arrive at a nice solid brush set, but we're getting there.

What's strange though is that it's been so long since I've drawn anything, which was super uncomfortable. Still getting back into the groove of things.

In other news, I've been on a shoujo manga binge after reading Ao Haru Ride. I gotta say, I can't even remember the last time a manga has made me that upset...

I did find a *really* amazing manga on my binge, though. It's called Orange (by Takano Ichigo), and it is probably the best manga I've read in years. I was actually blown away by how good it was, and at the risk of spoiling anything, I'll just say that the story is far more thoughtful than any I've come across in the shoujo genre (not that I dislike simple stories, if anything it's what I enjoy from many shoujo manga). The art is great, the story is incredible and the characters are all very likeable. Highly reccomend it!
