Hibike! Euphonium

Well this was surprising. Definitely my favorite first episode of the new season batch.

It really feels like they used a lot of what they learnt from Tamako Love Story, with the constant depth of field creating a really pleasant look, as if it were being filmed on a camera. There was a lot of attention to detail in regards to more subtle animated movements, which was really nice to see. Also, the VA for Kumiko absolutely killed it, astoundingly good performance. One more thing...

Be still, my beating heart. Not only does she have the glasses + pantyhose combo, but such a fun personality to watch as well. I am greatly looking forward to the future episodes for this show.

On another note, I finally finished the illustration of Shizuku.
